We took the OTBP movement to the streets of Chinatown in Singapore, a place steeped in culture and tradition.

Following Singapore's founding, migrants looking to make their fortune in Singapore began arriving in droves. Life back then wasn't easy, and fresh water was carted in by bullock-drawn carts, giving rise to Chinatown's other name - Niu Che Shui, or Bullock-Cart-Water.

At present, Chinatown is home to restored merchant shops and ethnic places of worship. A walk down its streets reveal the multiplicity of trades and diversity of religion of the early migrants to Singapore.

Remnants of such stories still survive in this modern-day cultural enclave, and we strive to help the industrious traveler uncover them.

Chinatown is a enigma;
relics of the past intermingle with the present.
Between the dingy, still-narrow streets of this vibrant precinct
lie pockets of history - a trove of cultural treasures,
waiting to be discovered by the intrepid adventurer.
